Happy May the Fourth (Be With You): “Star Wars” Blu-ray Details Unveiled

We knew that Lucasfilm was releasing the complete "Star Wars" saga - all six films - on Blu-ray in one whopping mega-box-set on September 16, 2011.

Well, now we know exactly what's in the box.

In addition to the six movies, the set will include three separate discs of archival material ranging from retrospective docs, pop culture spoofs and tributes, and hardcore behind the scenes minutia (an entire 45-minute feature on the gadgets alone).

In short, it's basically the exhaustive collector's holy grail we kinda hoped it would be.

Lucasfilm as released an official press release breaking down the details on each disc, as well as revealing the box art. This is from the release (hence all the exclamation points)
