A still from "London Boulevard" that was posted on the Dutch film site Totaal Film shows Farrell walking past a wall plastered with posters of Knightley.
Farrell plays Mitchell, a small-time crook fresh out of jail who strikes up an unlikely relationship with Charlotte, a reclusive movie star played by Knightley. The film also features Ray Winstone as an ex-crime boss, David Thewlis as Knightley/Charlotte's manager, Ann Friel as Farrell/Mitchell's sister and Eddie Marsan as Detective Inspector Bailey
Based on the novel by Ken Bruen, "London Boulevard" marks the directorial debut of screenwriter William Monahan ("The Departed"). It's slated for a UK release on Oct. 15, but will no doubt be picked up for U.S. distribution. Unless of course it is, against all odds, an epic mess, in which case it will probably still get picked.
This will be Farrell's first film since his small part in "Crazy Heart," while Knightley can next be seen in "Never Let Me Go," which dropped its first trailer today.
