Eve Hewson, daughter of U2 frontman Paul Hewson (you know him as Bono), has signed on to play a part that shoild come easily enough to her.

"This Must Be the Place" will star Sean Penn as a middle-aged rock star "who becomes fixated on pursuing the Nazi criminal who tormented his father in a concentration camp," reported Variety. Hewson would play a young music fan who befriends the aging rocker, a role that should come easily enough to Bono's daughter.

Hewson's only previous film experience was another indie film set against a rock n' roll backdrop, "The 27 Club," about a young rocker whose bandmate joins the long list of music legends -- Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain, among others -- who died at the age of 27.

We have no idea if the kid can act, but the cast also features Frances McDormand and Harry Dean Stanton, and it certainly sounds interesting enough.

"The Place" is being written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino, and is scheduled to start shooting later this month.
