The interior designer, known for incorporating trademark pops of color, faced the challenge of balancing the home's traditional, often formal layout with the homeowners' eclectic contemporary art collection.
Near the Serra foothills, the Serra Barn merges rustic beauty with a minimalist aesthetic. Located on two-and-a-half acres of land in the Malibu foothills, the residence was created by architect Michael Kovac and interior designer Vanessa Alexander, and was inspired by a classic Hamptons barn.
