Springsteen Tour Dates Announced

The Boss' album, "Wrecking Ball," will be out in March.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be back on the road in support of their latest album, "Wrecking Ball," including five local shows.

Springsteen will play the Izod Center in East Rutherford on April 3 and April 4, and will then play Madison Square Garden on April 6 and April 9. He'll end the U.S leg of his tour at the Prudential Center in Newark on May 2 before heading to Europe.

Tickets go on sale for these area shows this Friday.

"Wrecking Ball" will be released March 6, but his first single, "We Take Care of Our Own," is streaming on his website.

Nonstop Sound described the song as typical Springsteen, "brooding and uplifting" while also sticking up the for the working man, the star of most of his songs. Rage Against the Machine frontman Tom Morello makes a guest appearance on the album.

This will be Springsteen's first tour since the death of Clarence Clemons, the E Street Band's longtime saxophone player. He died last June of complications from a stroke.
