If you have been a reader of Nonstop Sound from the beginning, then you may know my love for Weezer runs pretty deep so it brings me great pleasure to announce their latest run of New York appearances.
This summer Weezer will take over the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ on July 28 and Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on the southern shore of Long Island on the following evening. To ensure that these two amphitheater concerts are special events, Weezer has enlisted the support of The Flaming Lips and Yeasayer for both of the shows.
The pricing ranges from $25 to $90 and tickets for this great bill, including Fast Passes for line skipping and VIP access, for both shows will hit the internet on May 7 at 10am on Ticketmaster via Live Nation. If you have a Citi Card you can snag tickets on May 4 during the pre-sale.
The announcement may relieve many Yeasayer fans already shut out of the now sold out show set to happen on June 18 at New York’s Terminal 5.
