Bluesy Olympia post-punk group The Gossip will play Terminal 5 on June 22; tickets go on sale today at noon here.
The Gossip first caught ears for their albums Movement and Standing in the Way of Control, which featured raw but danceable tunes, and frontwoman Beth Ditto's attacks on homophobia, sexism, sizeism and any other -ism you might care to name.
We can confirm rumors that The Gossip will be touring in support of their upcoming album A Joyful Noise, which was produced by Kylie Minogue/Pet Shop Boys regular Brian Higgins.
Based on first single "Perfect World," the trio is upping their not-inconsiderable disco tendencies this time around. It seems like a good look.
