TV On the Radio Announce Brooklyn Show And Full Album Stream

God bless spring. It is the glorious time of year where the ice melts, the temperature rises and most importantly our favorite artists come out from hibernation with new releases that feed into a renewed commitment to touring.

Enter Brooklyn-indie-rock outfit TV On the Radio, who have a new album titled Nine Types of Light due out April 12 courtesy of Interscope Records. The band has been kind enough to give us a preview of their fifth studio album via Rhapsody. Thankfully you don’t have to be a member of the streaming music service to listen, but keep in mind your trial period is only good for 25 plays. Take a listen to the new album here.

Additionally, TV On the Radio has added some new dates to their already lengthy tour schedule that includes a concert at Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday, April 13. One of the new shows is a record release celebration at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on the evening the album drops. Tickets for this April 12 show go on sale this Friday, April 8 at noon on Ticketmaster. This show will blow out so be ready so ready your pointer finger at noon to feverishly click away with the hopes of scoring a pair.

If you somehow manage to miss both of those shows, you’ll still get a chance to see them play on the Late Show with David Letterman on April 14. Safe bet is they will play the new single “Will Do” which is the video you can check out below:
