Sigur Ros to Play Prospect Park

Wordless warblers Sigur Ros will play the Prospect Park Bandshell on July 31, joining an already packed lineup of shows for this year's Celebrate Brooklyn Festival.

Tickets will go on sale here April 20 at noon.

The Icelandic group has been inactive for a few years, as several of the members had children, and frontman Jon "Jonsi" Birgisson was busy with a solo career and scoring the film "We Bought A Zoo."

But they are releasing a new album this May titled Valtari, so you can look forward to them doing that graceful whisper-to-a-breathtaking-crescendo thing they do better than anyone else.

Based on their video for new single "Ekki Mukk

," they haven't lost a step.
