He has produced songs for artists such as Nas, Kanye West and Jay-Z, to name a few.
Together with the late rapper Guru, DJ Premier became famous as the instrumental half of the influential group Gang Starr. Premier has come to be widely recognized as one of the greatest hip-hop producers of all time. His production has appeared on records by Nas, Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z, along with many others.
