When last we talked with New York songwriter/Twilight enthusiast Jennifer O'Connor, she was gearing up to release her typically intimate new album I Want What You Want through via her label Kiam.

O'Connor had taken some time recently to pursue some other interests and recharge her creative batteries, but she's fully on her grind these days.

To prove it, she has two different New York shows lined up, one at the Cake Shop on March 2 with Tim Foljahn and Ma'am, and one at Union Pool on March 4 with Kleenex Girl Wonder and Amy Bezunartea.

But that's not the end to her hustle. On March 6 Kiam will release Songs for an Age of Extinction from her opener Tim Foljahn, who has also played with Two Dollar Guitar, Cat Power, Thurston Moore and thus probably knows his way around some sonic disaffection.
