Beastie Boys' Video Sequel to Premiere at Sundance

Why stop at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nod?

The Beastie BoysAdam Yauch will aim for celluloid glory at the next Sundance Film Festival with the release of Fight for Your Right Revisited, a short film sequel to the group’s debauched 1987 music video for "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)."

The flick’s description is succinct: ”After the boys leave the party...” This will be explored to zany fruition by an impressible stable of actors: Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, and Jack Black. Yesterday, MTV posted a still from the shoot that depicted McBride as Yauch, Wood as Adam “A-Rock” Horovitz, and either Rogen as Mike "Mike D" Diamond.

The Sundance Film Festival runs January 20-30 in Park City, Utah. If there is a God, Ferrell will appear as the meddlesome, chimney-smoking “pop” of the song and Reilly will cameo in drag as the porn-trashing mom.
