Not sure what look to go for this weekend? Fashion and beauty expert Jenn Falik shared her tips for rocking a successful look this season.
When Niteside caught up with Falik at the PureWow.com launch party, held at The Renaissance Times Square's R Lounge Wednesday night, she told us, "For fall, beauty is all about simple mixed with drama. Go with clean skin and a fresh, matte make-up, but pair it with dramatic Burgundy lips."
And if you're the type who hates to wash your hair (looking at you, Mickey Rourke and city of Seattle) you're in luck. Falik said: "For hair, it's about a lot of volume. Tasseled and voluminous is the way to go. ... The dirtier the hair, the better! Dry shampoo is your best friend for fall."
Torn on what to wear out this weekend? Military is a look that you can work uptown or downtown. "I've been noticing a lot of military-inspired fashion out at night," Falik tells us. "Big combat boots and military jackets are happening ... jackets, jackets, jackets."
She has few don'ts, but she is sure of this: "Don't wear a dress made of meat." And speaking of Lady Gaga, Falik tells us, "She is so talented, but those hoof shoes kind of freak me out. There is no need to break your leg for fashion."
