Help the First Lady Break the World Jumping Jacks Record

Michelle Obama wants to break the Guinness World Records title for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period.

The first lady and hundreds of local children will do one minute of nonstop jumping jacks on the South Lawn next Tuesday.

To break the record set on March 22, more than 20,425 people worldwide will need to do jumping jacks for a minute.

A Guinness World Records official will review the event and signal the beginning of the jumping jacks challenge.

All jumping jacks must be done between 3 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday and 3 p.m. the next day.

You can participate, too.
