It's premiere day!
Ahead of the first episode of the "Great American Health Challenge: NYC" reality show competition (more on the show here), the New York Daily News was able to get a quick preview from the our very own show host Lauren Scala -- and it's looking like it's already a success:
Production began on "The Great American Health Challenge" three weeks ago, and Scala says "we're actually seeing big results amongst our teams. Some of them have lost weight. Some have been able to cut back on their smoking."
By the way, Lauren has triumphed over her own health challenge in the past. "Anyone who sees her on TV now would never guess it, but not so long ago, Scala was seeking a job in TV but lacked confidence," the Daily News writes. "Through exercise and diet -- the old-fashioned way, she says -- she dropped 30 pounds."
You can read more about Lauren's journey in her Ning community blog.
