A routine mammogram caught a cancerous tumor in "Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon's right breast, but she stayed quiet about it until after the cancer was treated with a lumpectomy and radiation. "I didn't want paparazzi at the hospital, that kind of thing," she told the Daily News. She eventually began speaking about it when she realized it might serve as an inspiration for other women at risk, and she now serves as ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. (Health.com)
