The pork and crab dumplings at Red Farm in the West Village in New York City.
Here at "1st Look," we like to eat. And each week, we're bringing you the best dish our team has noshed on all week. Let us whet your appetite with a little Friday food porn.
This week's winner? Red Farm's pork and crab soup dumplings. The steaming succulet pockets of delightful pork and crab is encased with a perfectly steamed, chewy wrapper. The best part: biting into the three-biter dumpling and being greeted by a mouthful of warm, flavorful broth. Ah, heaven.
This popular West Village Chinese joint with "green sensibility" is the ingenious creation by the dimsum master himself Joe Ng and Chinese food expert Ed Schoenfeld. It's no wonder the quaint little Chinese spot has been bustling since its opening late last year.
