EVERYTHING'S A-OK: Tonight's symposium Sesame Street: Made in NY is brought to you by the letter C and the number 6. Writers, directors and more behind-the-scenes folk will discuss the greatest kids' show of all time at the Apollo Theater. 6:30PM.

GLADHANDING: Hear zeitgeisty New Yorker scribe and Tipping Point author Malcolm Gladwell talk about his next bestseller Outliers: The Story of Success at the Union Square Barnes & Noble. And while you're there, ask him for hair tips. 7PM.

I LIKE CANDY: Brainy food historian Francine Segan breaks down our love affair with sugar at the America's Sweet Tooth event at the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum. And after she talks: dessert buffet! 6:30PM.
