If you're looking to get a head start on Cyber Monday, a number of NYC-based websites are on your side with Black Friday deals that stretch through the weekend.

Racked.com has rounded up a number of the sales, which includes 50 percent discounts at Barneys. NewYorkolgy has more, including 25 percent reductions at FAO Schwarz and 20 percent savings at the New Yorker magazine's shop and Flight 001 travel goods. See more at Top Button, including a long list of sample sales.

There's also one more online shop worth checking out this weekend as it'll be gone by Monday. Showtune emporium Footlight Records is calling it quits. The shop was located in East Village for three decades when it went online only in 2005.

"We gave it our best shot. After 30 years, Footlight will be closing its doors on Sunday, November 30th," the now Web site states.

See NewYorkology for a long list of online shops of classic NYC businesses.

          Um, No: Tinsley Mortimer

Always taking style to the next level, socialite Tinsley Mortimer took the alarming trend of frothy, flowery embellishments and added some extra tiers. The result, alas, is more cake than fashion.
