Neighborhood Watch: Resisting Harlem MePa: The nightlife scene around the Riverside...

The nightlife scene around the Riverside Drive viaduct on Twelfth Avenue in West Harlem—a couple blocks north of Columbia's planned Manhattanville megacampus—has already been slapped with the "Harlem Meatpacking District" title, but one blog isn't buying it. When told by a publicist that it's just a "marketing concept," NYC the Blog writes, "Now I can go back to ignoring anything happening in the The Harlem Meat Packing District, because it doesn't actually even exist."
