Restaurant Week as Economic Bailout
$24 Lunches and $35 Dinners Through Friday

New York City 's official Winter Restaurant Week won't begin until 2009, but starting today there's a ripped-from-the-headlines alternative.
Many of the same restaurants that take part in the summer and winter restaurant week programs this week are doing the same for OpenTable Appetite Stimulus Plan, which promises three-course meals for lunch (for $24,) or dinner (for $35.)
More than 200 restaurants are taking part, including big names such as 21 Club, Perry Street , Tabla and Tribeca Grill.
Most of the restaurants are in Manhattan, but there's also several in Brooklyn (including Stone Park Café,) and outside the city including Chappaqua, Yonkers and White Plains, and even some in New Jersey. Not all restaurants offer the deal at both lunch and dinner. The $24 and $35 price is per person, and exclusive of drinks, tax and tip. The dates of OpenTable Appetite Stimulus Plan are November 17 through Nov. 21.
