  • Is Midtown mainstay Aureole looking to get some of that sweet, sweet business lunch action? (What’s left of it, anyway.) The restaurant will kick off lunch service today from 12-2:30PM. We’ll have the softshell crab BLT. [more]
  • Today only, Vento shucks $1 Malpeque and Kumamoto oysters all day long. We smell a two-hour lunch. [more] 
  • The Germanization of menus marches forth! At Freemans, Chef Preston Madson’s new menu rocks “house-made garlic pork sausage with sauerkraut, toasted rye bread, and whole-grain mustard.” Ja. [more]
  • Don’t say we didn’t warn you about the Canadian Invasion: More poutine is planned for Cobble Hill’s Mile End (opening in September), where Quebecker Noah Bernamoff will serve it up with imported cheese curds (and Montreal microbrews, too). [more]
