Hungover people of the Upper West Side, rejoice! Fatty Crab is extending its Sunday brunch, turning it into an all day affair. Which means you can now roll out of bed at pretty much any hour and still be guaranteed that artery-massacring, fully therapeutic bacon sandwich. [more]

Who wants a fried clam roll? Ed Brown’s schmancy Eighty One will start slumming it with Eighty One Grill, a cheaper-bites experiment opening soon in the resto’s event space. Also: soft shell crab po'-boys, and everything priced from $9-15. No date yet. [more]

We’ve been sucking down as many Café Noir mojitos as possible since hearing that the SoHo staple had run into lease trouble and would be re-opening (technically – but we don’t believe re-openings until we see them, right, Chumleys?). But! The quirky café just renewed its current lease for a year. So we can all breathe easy. (For now.) [more]

Grub Street visits the new Tripie crêpe cart, and finds itself at a rare loss for words. “Good Lord, where to start with this? First of all, just take a look at our video of the making of a candy bar, fresh fruit, and whipped cream crêpe.” Also: Guacamole, pickles, and hard-boiled eggs.
