Rumor: Marc by Marc Jacobs Store to Open in East Village

Fashionista reports a Marc by Marc Jacobs outpost may open in the East Village. Emphasis on may as this rumor originated at a party in London. We put in a call to Marc Jacobs's people, and they have confirmed there are no plans to open a new store in the East Village. We repeat: There are no plans to open a new Marc by Marc store in the East Village. So there you have it. [Fashionista]
