MORNING AFTER: A hapless girl and boy (Kenya Miles, Wiley Wiggins) are hurtling through their 20s, tacking from one bad decision to the next, when they collide – and spend the rest of the film bumming around
LEARNED: The “How I Learned” multi-performer reading series at Happy Ending has mined plenty of mortifying memories for entertainment value (how I learned about sex was a favorite, natch). Tonight’s installment has a somewhat amorphous theme – “how I learned the hard way” – but it should diminish the entertainment value not one bit.
LADY DI: Diana Krall pretty much singlehandedly owns the entire lady singer/piano player genre these days; her jazzy style and perfectly sloppy cool have put her in a position where she can play around. That’s just what she did with Quiet Nights, her album of Brazilian-inspired tunes. She’ll showcase this new stuff and goodies from her older releases at Carnegie Hall,
