MEAT UP: For one day, Carroll Gardens’ fleischhaus Prime Meats surrenders its Germanic menu to all things American, serving up a fairly classic, trimmings-packed Thanksgiving feast – with a few krauty twists, like pretzel stuffing for the slow-roasted turkey. The low-lit room couldn’t be more festive (unless you order a few hot buttered rums, in which case: Way more festive). $16 per person; servings begin at 1PM. No reservations required.
CLASS ACT: He was discovered by Sammy Davis. Jr. in 1953 at a club in Syracuse, N.Y., and since then he’s released more than 40 albums, collab’ed with everyone who’s anyone in jazz, and received one of the greatest accolades around: Ella Fitzgerald declared him her “equal”. (Not known for modesty, that one.) Mark Murphy has aged but not mellowed: He brings his verve to Iridium tonight and tomorrow. 8:30 and 10:30PM.
